Style Society AW18 | VIP Night

Recently we invited some of our favourite VIPs to celebrate Style Society's Autumn/Winter 2018 range the most fashionable way possible... with a styling session featuring Cimon, amazing food and drinks to boot.

Our director Alyse styled the event using the theme of the store, a classic black and white palette, inspired by a marble wall that sits behind the counter. This featured throughout the store, with black, white and marble balloons, a perfect spot for guests to take photos and have fun throughout the night. The installation also perfectly complemented Cimon's talk on current trends.

At The Stylist's Guide we always love to add those finishing touches that bring the whole vision to life, and create an Instagram-worthy event. Along with the beautiful balloon garland, our infamous drink station sat along side a gorgeous collection of wine glasses with gold swizzle sticks, which added a pop to the table.

Finally, a delectable grazing table sat pretty among the clothes, featuring desserts from the Dessert Table and flowers from LilyWest Florist, to create the perfect centrepiece.

We love our collaborations with Cimon Vozzo, especially when they involve fashion. That's why The Stylist's Guide have put together 'For the Fashionista' package.

For the Fashionista styling session with Cimon Vozzo includes:
- a run down of current trends, styling advice and fashion do's and don'ts
- sourcing suppliers
- coordination of overall event, supplier delivery and collection
- use of The Stylist Guide’s drink station props
- styling of venue (excluding props)
*Depending on the venue we can also help with Visual Merchandising.

Bringing these expertise to the Style Society's AW18 event, Cimon spoke about everyone's favourite winter trends - coats, layering and faux fur.

Coats – the perfect accessory with any winter outfit, easy just to throw on, day or night. Cimon told us about the key coat colours for winter, khaki, pastels, neutrals and of course, black!

Layering – because it is so cold during winter, it's so easy to layer... but the question is, how far can I go? Cimon showed everyone how it's easy to layer with a coat over a shirt, but how you can layer with a knit and then pop a leather jacket or coat over.

Faux Fur – the number one accessory this winter. You can pair faux fur with just a pair of
black jeans or with a leather skirt to dress it up a bit.

While Cimon worked her magic, our director Alyse had everything else covered, from the decor, to the invites, drinks and food, every little detail was covered and love by every guest.

Thinking of holding a style session? Let's chat!
