Bonne nuit, je t’aime - The Stylist's Guide styled shoot at Light
Inspired by our love of the French Provincial trend we’re seeing throughout the event industry of late, our latest styled shoot at the stunning Light ADL exudes romance in each and every detail, aptly named Bonne nuit, je t’aime.
With the opportunity to style multiple spaces within venue, we settled on highlighting the private dining areas in the Aurora restaurant and The Light Room.
Our focus was to deliver two alluring table settings, with the a French styling flair translating across two differing layouts.
Aurora
From a colour palette consisting of pale pinks, beige and peach the inspiration was born for the tablescape of our dreams!
At the outset we knew that we wanted to create a setting that melded perfectly with the surrounding elements of the room, highlighting the arched mouldings, existing artwork and incredible patterned lighting.
Curved features were a must throughout the tablescape, which we played up with table lamps (the more mood lighting the better in our opinion), scalloped napkins, stationary borders, and bespoke handmade pearl champagne coupes.
The brief for flowers was simple yet stunning: Parisian, pretty and pops of pink, which was nailed by the amazing Adelaide Flower House.
The final touch encapsulating our vision came from our beautiful model, Danhna, dressed in a Couture Love Madness gown that fit the French vibe to a tee!
The Light Room
From the inception we were determined to demonstrate how a theme can translate from one space to another with minimal changes made, yet still deliver the same emotional connection.
The Light Room was always going to be an exciting space to work in – if you haven’t experienced this powerful room in person with its sky-high screens that surround you, add it to your bucket list.
Wanting to bring out the drama of the space, we switched the blush pink tablecloths to black, the almond napkins to coal and changed over the stationary that paired with the darker hues of the tablescape.
With tapered candles in place of the lamps, we chose a starry night sky as the backdrop to create a space that was truly magical.
When deciding on a favourite space, it has officially been called a tied between Aurora and The Light Room by The Stylist’s Guide office. While we are divided, which is your favourite?
