This month we’re super excited and blessed to be celebrating our fifth year of The Stylist’s Guide! To think that we’ve been creating show-stopping magical events for our incredible clients for so long, yet it feels like no time has passed!
In the past five years, we have seen The Stylist’s Guide grow and evolve into something we could never have imagined, and it truly is still our dream job.
THE HIGHLIGHT REEL
Successfully navigating a small business through a pandemic was no easy feat, but we were able to alter our services to work digitally via email, phone or video call without reducing our level of sophistication or customer service. As we finally found the perfect office space to call our own a year ago, it has been magical working from our studio and has truly been a dream come true to have our own TSG space.
Plus we were able to expand our beautiful team and grow with more like-minded event lovers, and it has been a pleasure as our business and offerings have grown too!
OUR FAVOURITE FAB FIVE YEAR COUNTDOWN
5 – Cimon and Vince’s wedding in 2018
Now, this was an event to remember – planning and styling the wedding of our sister, and renowned Adelaide stylist Cimon Vozzo… talk about pressure. From a gorgeous ceremony at St Patrick's Church, to a bridal party pit stop at Chicco Palms for a drink and relaxation before heading to Adelaide Town Hall for a reception that honoured the bride and groom’s Italian heritage with a modern touch.
4 – Rosanna’s 40th birthday in 2019
2019 saw us put on a magical and moody 40th birthday inspired by dark, wintery tones and ambient textures. Resonating modern style and sophistication; featuring deep reds, moody lighting, neon elements and plenty of candles — this birthday was one to remember!
3 – Esperanza’s 2nd birthday in 2020
Never before have we seen a 2nd birthday as vibrant and extraordinary as Esperanza’s birthday! This event is super special to us because it happened just weeks before lockdown, and it was one of our first events where we had full creative control and were able to show our full potential. Really, it was the highlight before our lives changed forever, it’s definitely an event we will never forget!
2 – Mount Gambier with SATC in 2021
The Stylist’s Guide was lucky enough to work with the South Australian Tourism Commission on a trip to Mount Gambier. As part of SATC’s 2021 campaign showcasing the great state of South Australia; special guests were flown to Mount Gambier on a mystery trip, to indulge in an exclusive lunch at the Kilsby Sinkhole. It was such a pleasure working with an organisation such as the SATC to create such an exciting and unique event.
1 – Marley’s Coachella-themed 13th in 2022
While we have the best time creating every event, Marley’s birthday celebration has got to be our favourite. I mean, from the theme, the colours and of course, the glitter station – this indeed was an event that allowed us to unleash our inner child! Marley’s mum kept the theme of the party secret from her daughter and we worked with her to create the final event which included Marley's favourite colours and her favourite things!
And that’s on turning 5! It has been an incredible 5 years at The Stylist’s Guide, and we cannot wait to see what will unfold in the next year and the adventures that will come along with it!
